&lt;p&gt;The N.J. State Police Uniform Crime reported 451 major crimes in 2010. The resulting crime and violent rates per 1,000 residents were 23.6 and of 1.4. There occurred 2 rapes, 10 robberies, 15 assaults, 102 burglaries (3rd highest in the county), 2 bias crimes, 230 cases of domestic violence, 39 incidents of police force, and no murders.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Maple Shade NJ Information&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;What is now Maple Shade was first settled in 1688. It was initially formed as Chester Township. In 1798, it was established as one of New Jersey's original 104 townships. The name was modified to Maple Shade Township as of November 6, 1945.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Its territory covers 3.8 square miles, highly populated by almost 5,000 persons per square mile. As of the 2010 census, 19,131 people called it home. There were 4,721 families and 9,009 housing units. As per City-data, the percentage of renters was significantly above the state average (43% versus 34%). It also estimated the 2009 median house or condo value at $192,826 versus $364,100 statewide.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Statistics from the 2000 census reveal that the median family income was $53,912 and the per capita income $23,812. Males had a median income 30.5% higher than females ($40,290 versus $30,858). The median household income was $45,426. According to City-data, in 2008 it had risen to $21,935 versus $70,378 statewide. Less than 6.0% of the people lived below the poverty level.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The origins most cited are German (60.4%), American (17.0%), Irish (13.2%) and Danish (5.7%). As of the 2000 census, 83.17% of the population was White, 7.21% African American, 6.10% Asian, and 4.46% Hispanic or Latino of any race. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Of the households recounted in the 2000 census, 23.8% had minors living with them. Households composed of married couples living together represented 31.4%. Those made up of non-family and of individuals were 44.2% and 36.0%. The median age was 36 years. Minors accounted for 19.4% and seniors for 15.4%.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As per the 2010 data census, holders of a bachelor's or graduate degree were below state levels (16.71% and 8.36% versus 20.65% and 12.05%). More than 37.0% had completed high school versus 13.29% who had not. Those with some college or associate degree were 24.49%.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The most common occupations for males are Computer specialists, Driver/sales workers and truck drivers, Electrical equipment mechanics and other installation, maintenance, and repair jobs including supervisors, and Building and grounds cleaning and maintenance jobs. Females engaged in Other office and administrative support jobs including supervisors, Secretaries and administrative assistants, Cashiers, and Information and record clerks except. customer service representatives (4%).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Hainesport was originally settled by Quakers. It was formed as a Township in 1924, from sections of Lumberton Township. It has a territory of 6.7 square miles, very densely populated. As of the 2000 census, 4,126 people made their home here. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There were 1,150 families and 1,555 housing units. According to City-data, the percentage of renters was significantly below the state average (9% versus 34%). It also reported the median contract rent for apartments in 2008 at $768. The same source estimated the median house or condo value at $310,024, up from $143,500 in 2000.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As of the 2000 census, the median family income was $72,005 and the per capita income $28,091. Males had a median 44% higher than females ($49,015.versus $33,932). The median household income was $66,417. City-data reported it had increased in 2008 to $84,762. Only 3.0% of the population lived below the poverty level.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The most common origins cited by the residents are Irish (19.6%), German17.7%), &lt;br /&gt;
Italian (17.2%), English (10.1%), and Polish (7.8%). As of the 2000 census, 94.09% of the population was White, 2.67% African American, 1.70% Asian, and 2.13% Hispanic or Latino of any race. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The rate of foreign-born residents is significantly below the state level (2-.9% versus 17.5%. Almost 80% are naturalized citizens, and come mostly from Germany (22%), Vietnam (19%), Canada (16%), and Russia (10%). &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Of all households registered in the 2000 census, 35.7% had minors leaving with them. Households composed of married couples living together were 67.5%. Those made up of non-family and of individuals represented 22.1% and 17.5%. Females without a husband present and seniors living alone were 7.2% and 8.3%. The median age was 38 years. Minors accounted for 26.3% and seniors for 11.8%.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The 2000 census data reveal that less than 9.00% of the residents 25 years old and over had not completed high school versus 37.98% who had. The percentages with a bachelor's or graduate degree were near state levels (18.93% and 8.68% versus 20.65% and 12.05%). Those with some college or associate degree were 25.64%.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The most common occupations for males are Other management jobs except farmers and farm managers, Retail sales workers except cashiers, and Electrical equipment mechanics and other installation, maintenance, and repair jobs including supervisors. Females worked as Secretaries and administrative assistants, Other office and administrative support workers including supervisors, and Other management jobs except farmers and farm managers. &lt;p&gt;As of the 2010 census, the population had increased 6.0% to reach 448,734 residents. This makes it the 11th most populated county in the state. &lt;p&gt;The most common ancestries are Irish (16.0%), Italian (15.6%), German (13.3%), English (7.4%) and Polish (5.4%). As of the 2010 census, 70.65% of the population was White, 16.00% African American, 4.32% Asian, and Hispanic or Latino of any race 6.42%. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The rate of foreign-born residents is below the state average (6.3% versus 17.5%). Of the current 6,881 foreign-born residents, 58% are naturalized citizens.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Police Department's work force consisted of 30 full-time employees, 28 of them police officers. That year, the N.J. State Police Uniform Crime recorded 118 major crimes. The crime and violent rates per 1,000 residents were 14.9 and 1.1, respectively.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Kenilworth New Jersey&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.kenilworthnj.com/"&gt;Kenilworth Borough&lt;/a&gt; was created in 1907 from sections of a number of farms bought at the end of the 19th century by the New Orange Industrial Association. Because it was often mistaken by one of the Oranges of Essex County, its residents decided to name it Kenilworth.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This borough is conveniently located some 9 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport. Some of the hospitals or medical centers at about 15 miles away are Richmond University Medical Center, Staten Island University Hospital and the Lutheran Medical Center.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It has a total land area of 2.1 square miles, inhabited by 7,914 residents as of the 2010 Census. The 2000 census recounted 2,117 families and almost 3,000 housing units. City-data estimated the median house or condo value at $177,000 that year, having increased to $370,522 by 2009. &lt;p&gt;The 2010 census recounted 20,018 housing units. In the previous census it was listed as Nº 52 among the cities with the highest rate of renters (80.1% versus 33.8% nationwide). &lt;p&gt;Newark was incorporated in 1798 as one of the state's original 104 townships. It was reincorporated as a city in 1896. It is the seat of Essex County.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Its 26.11 square miles territory is highly populated. As of the 2010 census, there were 277,140 inhabitants, the largest in the state and the 67th in the country. The median age was 32.3 years. It is the second place nationwide where households have no automobile.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Males had a median income of $34,350 versus $32,865 for females. The per capita income was $17,367 (All the figures are in 2010 inflation-adjusted dollars) About 25.0% of the population was below the poverty level, including 34.9% of minors and 22.4% of seniors. &lt;/p&gt;

Essex Fells was incorporated in 1902 as a borough. In 1981, it became a township and went back to being a borough in 1992. Its territory of 1.41 square miles is home to 2,133 residents as of the 2010 census. The population density is low at less than 1,500 persons per square mile. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It was ranked as the 10th "Best Place to Live" in the state by New Jersey Monthly magazine in 2008.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As of the 2010 census, there were 598 families and 758 housing units. City-data estimated the median house or condo value in 2009 at $905,881 (significantly above the state average of $343,800). The January 2011 cost of living index was 26.7% above the national average.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The 2006-2010 American Community Survey of the Census Bureau estimated (with a margin of error of up to 10%) that the median household income was $182,031 and the median family income $202,917. Males had a median income 66% higher than females ($120,417 versus $72,500). The per capita income was $94,423. The percentage of foreign-born residents was significantly below the state average (7.3% versus 17.5%).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Of the 728 households registered in the 2010 census, 42.6% had minors living with them. Almost three fourths were married couples living together. Households composed of non-families and of individuals were 17.9% and 16.3%.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;At the time of the 2010 census, the median age was 43.8 years. Almost one third of the population each was under the age of 18 and from 45 to 64 years old. Seniors represented 16.1%.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The 2010 census data for highest educational level of residents age 25 and over reveal that the percentage with a bachelor's degree or higher were about state levels (25.05% and 12.30% versus 20.65% and 12.05%). &lt;p&gt;In 2010, the Police Department consisted of 68 full-time law enforcement employees, including 57 police officers.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The N.J. State Police Uniform Crime registered 451 major crimes in 2010. This results in a crime rate per 1,000 residents of 19.7 and a violent rate of 2.3 The reports included 1 murder, 3 rapes, 16 robberies, 32 assaults, 72 burglaries, 241 incidents of domestic violence, 68 cases of police force, and no bias crimes.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Independent data for 2010, which do not consider bias crimes, domestic violence or police force, show 296 thefts, 31 auto thefts, and no arsons.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Carteret - New Jersey&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Carteret was initially established as the borough of Roosevelt in 1906, when part of Woodbridge Township. It acquired its present name in 1922.&lt;br /&gt;
It has an area of almost 5 square miles. It encompasses a special zone called "Urban Enterprise Zone" that offers a reduced sales tax of 3.5%, half the rate charged throughout the state.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The population had increased to 22,844, as of the 2010 census, from 20,709 in 2000. There were more than 5,000 families and about 7,300 housing units, as per the 2000 census. An unofficial 2009 estimate placed the median house or condo value at $310,797. The January 2011 cost of living index was 23.1% higher than the national average.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As of the 2000 census, 11.0% of the population was below the poverty line. The median family income was $54,609. Male median income was 43% higher than that of females ($40,172 versus $28,132). The median household income and the per capita income were $47,148 and $18,967. Unofficial 2009 estimates place these at $54,806 and $24,807.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Of the 7,039 households existing in the 2000 census, 35.5% had minors living with them. Married couples living together represented 52.1%. Households composed of non-families and of individuals were 26.0% and 21.9%, and 11.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The principal ancestries are Italian (14.3%), Irish (12.9%), Polish (12.3%), and German (7.2%) The racial and ethnic composition as of the 2000 census was 50.7% White, 30.9% Hispanic or Latino, 19.0% Asian and 14.9% African American. About 23% of the residents are foreign-born versus 17.5% statewide. The Sikh community, estimated at 1,000 to 2,500, is the largest in the state.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;At the time of the 2000 census, 51.4% of the population was between 25 to 64 years old. The median age of the population was 37 years. A fourth of the residents were under 18 and 15.0% were 65 and older.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The highest educational level of the population aged 25 and over in 2010 shows that 20.57% had not completed high school versus 43.10% who had. Those with some college or associate degree were 21.64%. Holders of a Bachelor's degree represented 10.42% (versus 20.65% statewide). Those with a graduate degree were 4.28% (versus 12.05% statewide).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;From 2005 to 2009 males worked in transportation and warehousing (19%), manufacturing (12%) and retail trade (10%). Females engaged in health care and social assistance (18%), manufacturing (12%) and finance and insurance (11%).&lt;br /&gt;
