One Woman Loses Life in Apartment Fire at Spring Manor Apartments in Lancaster, PA. (LancasterOnline.com)

Lancaster, PA NEWS – An apartment fire Thursday night, April 30, 2025, tragically claimed one life.

As reported by WGAL.com, “[e]mergency dispatchers said multiple calls came in just before 9 p.m. for a fire at the Spring Manor Apartments at the intersection of Millersville Road and West Fairway Drive in Manor Township. Callers reported people trapped and flames in multiple units.”

According to the report, “[w]hen crews arrived, they found heavy fire coming from the roof and from both the front and rear of the building…Firefighters immediately entered the building, but they were unable to complete a full search because part of the roof had already collapsed.”

LancasterOnline.com is reporting, “[a]fter the fire was brought under control, first responders found the woman who died in one of the apartment units buried beneath parts of the roof and other debris.”

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Indianapolis, IN NEWS – Gunfire rang out at a gas station Sunday evening, April 26, 2026, leaving one man dead.

As reported by Fox59.com, “officers were called to [a gas station in] the 3800 block of North Mitthoefer Road around 6:58 p.m. to investigate a shooting.”

WTHR.com is reporting, “[w]hen officers arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but he was pronounced dead around 7:30 p.m. The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 39-year-old Aaron Israel Smith.”

Greenwood, SC NEWS – Gunfire rang out at an apartment complex late Wednesday night, April 29, 2026, leaving one man dead.

As reported by FoxCarolina.com, “[o]fficers were dispatched to an apartment complex at 845 South Main St. on Wednesday around 11:09 p.m. Upon arrival, a gunshot victim was found in a hallway.”

WSPA.com is reporting, “[o]fficers rendered aid until EMS arrived, and the victim was taken to the hospital. The Greenwood County Coroner’s Office reported that 41-year-old Michael C. Boston later died from his injuries.”

Bastrop, TX News – A man tragically lost his life after a work related incident Friday night, April 24, 2026.

As reported by KVUE.com, “a worker died in a fatal incident at a Bastrop County factory. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) officials confirm they are investigating a fatality at [a processing plant] that occurred on April 24.
