May 6, 2015:  Brian White, 43, of Hamden, Connecticut, and Todd “Demse” Zullo, of Northampton, Massachusetts, died as the result of serious personal injuries sustained when the van they were traveling in overturned on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Westfield on Sunday morning.  White was driving the van and Zullo was a passenger.

According to the Massachusetts State Police, the vehicle was traveling in the eastbound lane of the Massachusetts Turnpike, when White lost control of the van, causing it to turn over and collide with the median.

White was pronounced dead at the scene.  Emergency medical crews transported Zullo to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, but succumbed to his injuries and died on Tuesday afternoon.  Both White and Zullo were members of a Northampton based reggae band, called The Alchemystics.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police.  As of today, no charges have been filed.
