THE HEALTH LAW PARTNERS’ ADRIENNE DRESEVIC AND JESSICA GUSTAFSON RECOGNIZED AS MICHIGAN RISING STARS

Adrienne Dresevic and Jessica Gustafson, founding partners of Southfield, Mich.-based The Health Law Partners, were recognized as “Michigan Rising Stars” by Super Lawyers magazine. Founding partner, Robert, Iwrey, made the announcement.

To qualify as a “Michigan Rising Star”, candidates must be 40-years-old or under and have been practicing for 10 years or less. Candidates must be nominated by a fellow attorney who has witnessed them in action – whether as co-counsel, as opposing counsel or through first-hand observation. An attorney-led research team then reviews each candidate and assigns points based on a set of defined criteria. Lawyers are ranked by the final point total and those with the highest totals are named to the “Rising Stars” list.
Dresevic’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of healthcare law and has specialized her practice in Stark and fraud abuse. An avid writer and speaker, Dresevic has published more than 60 articles on healthcare law and presents at national conferences throughout the year, and she currently serves as chair of the American Bar Association Publications Committee. She received her juris doctorate from Wayne State University Law School, finishing second in her class magna cum laude, and was a member of the Order of the Coif.
Gustafson specializes her practice in Recovery Audit Contracts and Medicare audit appeals, and she routinely publishes articles and speaks across the country. Gustafson graduated cum laude from Miami University, and earned her juris doctorate from Wayne State University Law School. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, American Bar Association – Health Law Section and the Michigan Bar Association – Health Law Section.
